Deep Dive Course

Requirements:

• SSI Open Water Diver certification OR Equivalent

Description:

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty is designed for certified divers who want to explore deeper dive sites safely and with confidence. This course teaches you how to plan and execute dives beyond the standard Open Water limit — all the way down to 40 meters (130 feet).

You’ll learn key aspects of deep dive planning, including gas management, narcosis awareness, and emergency procedures specific to deeper depths. Under the guidance of an SSI Instructor, you’ll complete three open water training dives, focusing on safe descent and ascent techniques, buoyancy control, and bottom time awareness.
