Dive Log – Shaab Iris & El Sachwa Abu Galawa

Marine Yacht | SSI Dive Center – Hurghada, Red Sea 📅 July 16, 2025 The day began with excitement as a dolphin appeared beside the boat while we sailed toward our first dive site. It was a beautiful start that lifted everyone's spirits.

Dive 1: Shaab Iris

Our first dive took place at Shaab Iris. Visibility was good, though not perfect. Conditions were calm and the highlight came when we saw an eagle ray jump near the surface, adding some unexpected drama to the start of the day.

Dive 2: El Sachwa Abu Galawa

We then moved on to El Sachwa Abu Galawa, where we enjoyed a dive full of small wonders. We spotted a nudibranch, a spotted snake eel, and several spotted rays along the reef. The site had plenty of life to explore and observe.

A Special Milestone

Today also marked an important achievement for Assu, who successfully completed her final training dive and officially earned her SSI Open Water Diver certification. Congratulations to her for becoming a certified diver with us.

From surface dolphin sightings to new divers finishing their journey, today brought moments of joy, beauty, and progress in the Red Sea.
